Hey there, i remember seeing an advert for Maggi noodles whilst in Sri Lanka, ( i think it was in 2003 but i was young so dont remember that well..)
Its stuck with me for years, wondering if you could give me any links you may have so i may watch it again?

i remember there being a jingle if that helps?
something along the lines of
la la la la ..la -la-la
maggi maggi maggi!

@ayusha: no idea at all

@anchal:what maggi could not have achieved with the ad, they did by keeping this on air longer than most of their ads. The result? Consumer acceptance of the ad is much better day by day.

Important marketing lesson to be learnt, if your product is not really good, brand it well and market it well…it might become a bigger hit than you can imagine.

hey wht i think d ad is not so bad,d way u said… i think ur point is nt criticism of dis ad but comparison of diffrent maggie ads…if u r judging on dat basis thn 4 sure this ad will get less rating but if i compare to d present ad industry thn i thnk d ad(spcly dat funky guy)did caught every1’s attention…

Hi, I completely disagree with the negative review of this ad, but then again everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think this ad is pure genius and probably one of my favorite of all time. It’s perfectly edited, and I just love the wide range of expressions on that boy’s face. Everytime I hear the ad on tv, I run to come watch it! Totally makes me wanna buy the product.

How about the new ICICI Prudential ad “jeete raho”. It is a very different ad in the sense that it showcases a housewife looking after financial matters. Will wait for the review
