@amit: i'll tell u why..if they restrict m to storing only 200 photos, makes sense. But letting me store more than 200 snaps, n then tellin m i can only see the first 200 is mindless.

also, i have no way of going to the older snaps if i wanna delete them, without deleting the newer ones!!! Now u understand why i call it blackmail :-x

thank god for picasa :)

I really don't get it why you are so displeased Ash, that Flickr limit is a known thing and can be viewed in their FAQs here. So I wouldn't call it extortion, they are just reminding you that your older photos won't be deleted but they will not be shown either in your stream; only last 200 photos will be visible in your stream. But mind you, you or anyone else can view your older photos if you/they know the direct link to the photo page. This is a limit that I've seen there for past 3 years I've been on Flickr. Why make a big deal? They provide a service, one is free & one is paid; free one is limited in whats given while paid is not, its the case with every provider which gives free service! :)

One way to get around this is to create a private group & post all your photos to that group's pool. Then you will have direct links to all your photos & get their code to display them where-ever you want. :)
